What do I want for Christmas? Ignorance.

Ignorance is what made the world so great when I was a child. Actually believing that Santa Claus would somehow fit his fat ass down my chimney, give me whatever I wanted, and then repeat the chore millions of times across the globe was worth living for by itself. No matter what happened during the year, Santa would always come through.

Ignorance is what made me believe in the Easter Bunny, Hanukkah Harry, the North Pole, Elves, Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, Jesus, and happiness. I want to go back to a time where I actually believed I could be whatever I wanted to be and that I could do anything I set my mind to. I want to believe that I can be a Major League Baseball player or a rock star or an astronaut. I want to believe there is something worth living for.

Give me ignorance or give me death.
